It is ten years since Tony and Jean packed in the day jobs and started making soup in the kitchen at 11.00pm. Wakefield didn’t know what hit it. Deli Central sandwiches and catering had arrived.
Things have moved on now. We still make the soup, prepare salads and have a thriving and continually improving catering and hospitality business.
Five years ago we converted a shop on the recently redeveloped Bull ring, giving Wakefield a “proper Deli” with a cheese counter, cooked ham and fresh salads and an amazing range of artisan and top quality shelf goods.
The last five years have flown by. We have given the shop a revamp and it will be ready, in its full glory for our open evening on Thursday 14th November. (we are even getting a new EPOS till, thanks to our friends at RCS Ossett).
